This is heartening.
It doesn't mean the United States will not end up a second-rate power. The drive for "renewable energy" (which, in fact, is a pipe dream that will never be realized), cap and trade, excessive state and federal debt and overregulation could easily doom the country.
It hasn't happened yet.
