A friend said this week that, "Any idiot can write a blog". And I agree. You are reading "any idiot" right now. I'd also argue that any idiot can write a newspaper column and Eugene Robinson is case-in-point.
Shouting "socialism" didn't work, so now they're yelling "overload" and "lack of focus."
I think he's referring to the Right, but it's his Eugene's media buddies saying (and perpetuating) the statement. And even if it is just Conservatives, the shoe fits. This President is the guy "too tired" to do much more than a photo op with one of our stauchest allies. He left the writing of the stimulus bill to Pelosi and Reid. First he was telling us the economy was the worst since the Great Depression. A couple weeks later, it's "not so bad".
Looks like lack of focus to me.
