This about sums it up.
When he was elected in 2000, the Democrats described Bush as "just stupid". When 9/11 came around and he showed leadership, he had to be destroyed, regardless of cost. Bush never stood up to it, but at least he stayed the course in the war on terror.
History will judge it all.
