Krugman's Blood

Apparently, the Nobel-Prize-Winning Paul Krugman thinks we should"stay the curse"?

How does this end? Mr. Obama is still talking about bipartisan outreach, and maybe if he caves in sufficiently he can avoid a federal shutdown this spring. But any respite would be only temporary; again, the G.O.P. is just not interested in helping a Democrat govern.

So if the GOP moves toward the Democrats, it's "bipartisan" and if Obama moves toward the Republicans, he "caves"?  A "bipartisan" effort of greater taxing and even greater spending got us here.  If it isn't stopped, it will be worse than metaphorical "blood".  It could be real blood.  Is that what Krugman wants?
