The Beer: I'm ready to brew again and considering the socio-political environment and economic direction, I may need something with which to barter.
The Bicycle: It looks sad out there waiting for me. It will be sadder when I set my fat ass on it.
The VRWC: The brilliant Willis Eschenbach has done what I've tried to to multiple times on this blog. Not only has he nailed the impossible task, but commenters have drawn conclusions that are largely spot-on. None of the "Green New Deal" is about cleaning up the environment. It is about control, ending US leadership, it is about ending capitalism and it is about depopulation. Listen to what they say. They mean it.
